My goal as a teacher is to help my students - from beginners to advanced - become independent workers, critical thinkers, and creative musicians. The more work you put in, the more I can help you get better, and the more fun we'll both have! Please download a copy of my Studio Policies for your records  by clicking on the button below. Return the last page filled out to confirm you've read and agree to the policies at your first lesson. Contact me here for further questions.

Studio Policies:

Be sure to download the full copy of the studio policy letter for your records. Below are some important highlights for quick information.

Payment:

I offer 30, 45 and 60 minute weekly classes.

30 minute = $40

45 minute = $55

60 minute = $70

Payment is due in full at the beginning of each month for the number of lessons to be had that month. For example if your lesson day is normally Tuesday, look at the calendar for how many Tuesdays there are that month (most will be 4, but occasionally it will be 5) and send payment accordingly by the end of the first lesson of the month.

I accept:

Zelle, PayPal, Cash or Personal Check

Streaming Platform:

Skype profile ID: Shook08

Cancellations and make-ups:

If you need to cancel a lesson I need a minimum of 24 hours notice. If given less than 24 hours notice, you’ll still be charged for the lesson and a make-up option is not guaranteed. When given more than 24 hours notice you have two options:

1. Request to schedule a make-up lesson. An alternative time/day for that week (or month) will be offered. Please give a minimum of 24 hour notice before your lesson if you need a different time. The more notice I have the more options I can offer.

2. Cancel without scheduling a make-up (“skip a week”), but realize you’ll still be charged for the time I set aside for your student.

Essentially, unless I am cancelling lessons, plan on having and paying for a lesson every week. Weekly lessons foster consistent development and progress. If a student cancels or reschedules lessons frequently they may be dismissed from the studio.
